What's the difference between the "Adults"/"Artistas" category suites and the other suites?
Hotel Xcaret Arte is a 16 years and older resort, but the Artists House is only for those 18 years and older. Only guests staying in the “Artistas” category rooms have access to the Artists building.
The room layouts and design are the same throughout the resort; the only difference is access to the previously stated exclusive amenities.

Americans with Disabilities Act
Since the hotel is not located in the United States, they’re not required to be in compliance with the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. The Hotel has a limited number of accessible guest rooms that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You can request an accessible room but it’s never guaranteed.
Also, public areas and restaurants at the Hotel are wheelchair accessible, just not wheelchair friendly. If you need to rent a wheelchair, scooter, or oxygen tank you can do so through Playa Mobility. Click here to visit their website.
Although transportation is included, some find that the resort’s accessible shuttle is not always available or reliable. For this reason, we would advise all guests that are mobility challenged to arrange for private accessible round trip transportation, for the best experience.
